Versilia Wine Art Festival Attendance

by Lodovico Gierut

16 to 21 March 2011 Pietrasanta (LU), Church S. Augustine

The wine has always been entrusted to the immortality of artistic expression. Sculpture and painting have interpreted the seduction, the meeting of matter and light that we find in a cup, which involves all the sensory faculties up to generate a vertiginous thrill. On the occasion of the third edition of the Versilia Wine Art Wine Festival, the church of St. Augustine, March 16 to 21, returns to the old union background hosting by twelve artists in a dialectical interplay between art and wine by Lodovico Gierut

Linked to the town of Pietrasanta by birth or adoption: John Balder, Fernando Botero, Giancarlo Cannas, Sandro Chia, Girolamo Ciulla, Romano Cosci, Gigi Guadagnucci, Renzo Maggi, Eun Sun Park, Gioni David Parra, Gabriele Rovai, Ivan Theimer, are called to represent the creativity of this land. There are appearances, evidence of language in a fascinating window on contemporary art with which Lodovico Gierut, once again, invites us to embark on a fascinating journey of forms and ideas, to become skilled tasters.

A tribute to the god Bacchus and artistic identity of Pietrasanta. A whole new way to enjoy the taste that only great art can stimulate. Consisting of 36 works: sculpture in marble and bronze, drawings. Twelve other great artists to experience and expressive language that tell the special relationship with the creativity of Pietrasanta. A parallelism between the arts and art good wine is that many statements in this land.
