inaugurated Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Rectors' Gallery at 18:00 Tribbio 2 (Piazza Vecchia, 6) in Trieste, the exhibition of the painter Aldo Bressanutti, which will be introduced by the architect Mario Accerboni. The event features a thirty unpublished oils on board, he carried out in 2010 and exclusively devoted to the theme surreal. With great talent and verve of a very personal expression - writes Marianna Accerboni - Bressanutti created during his long career as a painter in a universe balanced between genuine reality and dreams, becoming capable of combining the real with the investigation of metaphysical and surreal dream and the tenderness of memory, hidden behind signs playful and ironic.
Each work is in fact tinged with irony, more or less pronounced, mainly accompanying the surreal production, while, in portraying the reality - in this case the internal memorable autobiographical - the brush is often tinged with a touch of poetry, unreported but latent, which softens declined in an original story by the artist as an apparent sensitive divertissement
Painter, Bressanutti is well known for its interior dedicated to old city, which track a constant veil of intimacy and game shows and a world that no longer exists . In these views it is as if trying to tell a story with a happy ending, in which the intimate array, manifested by the desire to make an intimate harsh reality, goes well with the surreal, which makes the interior, as in fairy tales and cartoons, all possible, beyond and outside of reality. As I discovered years ago - we were in early 2002 - when the artist showed me the amazing works by tilting the surreal, which by their originality made me know a Bressanutti unexpected.
The surreal aspect is an interesting section of the artist, who, self-taught, undertaken in the fifties of last century, and then just leave it up to the beginning of 2000 for fear of being accused of copying the great surrealists Belgium and France, whose painting had not actually known. Through surreal and the language according to the input of this trend, which Bressanutti approaches to skin, without actually knowing the dictates that the writer André Breton in Paris in 1924 drew up the first Surrealist manifesto, the artist releases the most inaccessible depths of the unconscious , arousing intense atmosphere with a brush, unpredictable and sometimes dramatic, in which the ecological theme is interwoven with the inner pain, with the game and with a sort of cosmic violence and significant environmental impact and emotional valence.

Completely self-taught, definitely takes the work painted in 1947, creating works of inspiration and narrative, making it very popular from the beginning, and soon after, surreal works of taste. Throughout his life he has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and important personal and group exhibitions in Italy, England, Germany, Canada, Australia, Spain, etc.. The last decade has been present with his paintings in various Italian and foreign cities from Rome to Milan and Genoa in Berlin, Toronto, Melbourne, Tenerife, Düsseldorf, London, Bern, etc.., Always arousing much interest and curiosity and achieving significant success. His works are in private collections and museums, organizations and institutions in Italy and abroad.
He has made six volumes devoted to Trieste, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Istria and Muggia (the latter in collaboration with Italy Stener) with texts, among others, G. Bergamini, L. Lago, L. Padovese, A. Seri, S. Tavano, illustrating these points with over 1,500 prints, drawings and paintings and stopping cut permanent and effective memory. He works in oil painting around 1500. In 1998 the publishing house of Trieste, Lint has published a monograph compendium of fifty years of his artistic activity.
